To establish a strong employee relations framework, firms must focus on several key pillars:

If you notice a lot of the items I mentioned in the list of things that managers get wrong, have to do with communication. In any relationship, communication is the key, but in the work relationship, it gives employees the transparency that they need, it can help them understand their role in the organization better, and make them feel like you trust them (Jay Leonard,2022).
In any relationship, communication is the key. Employees spend the majority of their days at work so it's important that they feel comfortable with management in successfully fulfilling their job performance.
One way to ensure this is to ABC - Always Be Communicating. Let your team know that you are there to talk about their work or anything else they need, by being as transparent with them as possible about what you need and expect from them.
One way to keep a constant pulse on how your team is feeling is to conduct simple monthly surveys that allow employees to submit anonymous feedback It's a great way to keep communication flowing at all times by engaging your employees and letting them share their thoughts anonymously in a safe environment (peopleservicessolutions,2023).
2.Show Recognition/Gratitude

Recognizing and thanking employees' accomplishments is critical to improving morale and motivation. Implementing a strong reward and recognition program may motivate employees to do their best and promote a culture of gratitude.
Simple gestures of thanks and kind words go a long way. Longer than you might think. IN fact, 77% of employees are starved for recognition. Appreciation and gratitude mean so much to your employees by being positive and truthful is an easy way to reinforce good work which can inspires them to keep it up. Giving public praise is another great way to show recognition while also inspiring the rest of the team. Rewarding your team properly is what cultivates a culture of appreciation between employee and management, ultimately inspiring them to continue to work hard for you (peopleservicessolutions,2023).
3.Constant Feedback

The key word here is consistent, make sure you’re always touching base with employees, and giving them feedback on how they can improve. Make them understand that you’re trying to help them grow as a person, which is exactly what they want. Employees crave feedback, so don’t be shy about giving it to them very frequently. In fact, 77% of employees are starved for recognition (Jay Leonard,2022).
Offering frequent feedback to your employees on their job performance work along with constructive criticism on where they can improve is essential in nurturing a positive relationship with your team. Employees want feedback, they want to learn, grow and improve. Providing them with the tips and guidance they need to get there by holding frequent feedback sessions, like monthly one-on-ones, will be highly appreciated (peopleservicessolutions,2023).
4.Invest in your Employees
“People don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care” – John C. Maxwell
Show employees that you care about them, and that you want them to be better people, both personally and professionally. The truth is, more and more we’re realizing that if an employee is happy in their personal life, they’ll be much more productive at work. You should find out what would make your employees happier, and then invest in them. Allow them to pursue side projects, subsidize their gym membership, subsidize their guitar lessons, it honestly doesn’t matter. What matters is that you’re investing in their growth (Jay Leonard,2022).
CONCLUSION
Finally, employee
interactions have a significant impact on an organization's culture and
productivity. Organizations may build a workplace that makes employees feel
appreciated, engaged, and motivated by focusing on honest communication, fair
policies, recognition, work-life balance, employee development, dispute
resolution, and feedback.
